Around 60 club members and partners gathered at The Rock on Thursday 18th December to celebrate Christmas in style. The evening was full of festive cheer as everyone enjoyed drinks, mingled freely, and caught up with plenty of lively conversation. A delicious hot buffet kept everyone well fed, while the more eagle-eyed attendees happily discovered the complimentary glass of Prosecco and raised a toast to the season.

We were delighted to celebrate this year’s Club Person of the Year – Philip van der Veen. One of our most active ride leaders and always ready to step in and help wherever needed, Philip is a truly deserving winner of the award 🥳

The much-coveted bottle of lube for the Chainline Article of the Year went to Ian Ryder, whose account of riding in Iceland captured the imagination.

The festivities continued well into the night, with the final stragglers being ushered out by pub staff at around 11.20 pm — a sure sign of a thoroughly enjoyable evening all round!
